คือการผ่าผนังกั้นช่องจมูกคด (Deviated Septum) ซึ่งการที่ผนังกั้นช่องจมูกคดนั้นอาจเกิดได้จากการบาดเจ็บตรงจมูก หรือเกิดจากการที่เราเป็นแต่เกิดได้เช่นกัน โดยการผ่าตัดนั้นจะทำภายในโพรงจมูกซึ่งจะทำให้ไม่มีผลกระทบต่อรูปลักษณ์จมูกภายนอกครับ
คือการผ่าตัดลดเยื่อบุโพรงจมูก (Turbinate) อย่างของผมคือตัวเยื่อบุมีขนาดใหญ่เกินไป เลยต้องมีการผ่าตัดควบคู่ไปด้วยครับ

ตั้งแต่เด็กแล้วที่ช่วงตอนกลางคืนจมูกผมจะตันมากทำให้ตอนนอนต้องหายใจทางปากอย่างเดียว หลายครั้ง ๆ ที่ผมต้องตื่นมาด้วยอาการเจ็บคอมาก ๆ แต่พอนานเข้า ร่างกายเริ่มปรับตัวได้ ผมก็เริ่มสนใจมันน้อยลง ผมนอนหายใจทางปากมายาว ๆ จนถึงช่วงก่อนหน้านี้ที่ผมเริ่มรู้สึกว่ามันเป็นปัญหาและดูไม่มีท่าทางว่าจะหาย เลยตัดสินใจไปพบหมอที่โรงพยาบาลเอกชนใกล้บ้าน ตอนแรกผมคิดว่าคงเป็นเพราะภูมิแพ้แน่ ๆ แต่หลังจากที่คุณหมอส่องกล้องกลับพบว่าเป็นโรคโพรงจมูกคด ซึ่งด้วยความที่ว่ามันเป็นปัญหาทางโครงสร้างเลยสามารถแก้ได้จากการผ่าตัดเท่านั้น
Since god knows when, I've always struggled with severe nasal congestion especially during the late night hours, forcing me to solely breathe through my mouth when sleeping. It was not uncommon for me to wake up up with a very sore throat. Though, over time, my body adapted, sore throat became less prevalent, and I became less bothered by it.
I got used to it for long, until recently that it was becoming a problem, especially in falling sleep, daytime fatigue, and general fogginess after waking up. Regardless of me being unsure of its correlation, I decided to see a doctor at a nearby private hospital. Initially, I thought my congestion was due to allergies, but after the examination, it turned out to be because of my deviated septum, a structural issue with surgery being the only solution to fix it.

Due to its abruptness and the significant cost of surgery, we did not immediately decide to undergo the operation. Ultimately, after researching and gathering more information about the surgery, the experience, the pros and cons, we decided to do a cross check of our symptom and proceed the operation at Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital.
